Heart system configuration
FPSO is a highly complex integrated system, mainly composed of the following core components:
Hull system: The foundation of FPSO not only needs to withstand the load of ordinary oil tankers, but also needs to maintain stability in wind, waves and currents for a long time, with strict design standards.
Upper module: The “production workshop” of FPSO, responsible for core processes such as oil, gas, and water separation and treatment. Taking the “Ocean Oil 122” as an example, its upper module includes 8 individual units including process, electrical, power, and living buildings, with a total weight of about 8900 tons and integrated with 713 key equipment.
Mooring positioning system: Fixing FPSO at sea, divided into single point mooring and multi-point mooring. Single point mooring allows FPSO to rotate with wind and waves, reducing impact.
Oil and gas processing system: Separate the mixture extracted from the seabed into qualified crude oil and natural gas.
Oil storage and export system: The processed crude oil is stored in the cargo hold and transported away by shuttle tankers.
