Power and propulsion system
Main engine and propulsion method: Conventional propulsion systems such as single engine, single propeller, and single rudder are usually used. Some new ships adopt hybrid propulsion of diesel and electricity to enhance operational flexibility.
Host power: The configuration range is usually between 440 kW and 837 kW. For example, the main engine power of a 44.8-meter ship is about 440-698 kW, a 39 meter ship is about 837 kW, and a 48 meter ship is about 735 kW.
Design speed: The design service speed is usually 11-12 knots.
🧊 Ultra low temperature freezing system (core configuration)
This is the most essential technical configuration of this type of ship, which directly determines the quality and value of the catch.
Refrigeration temperature: The temperature in the fish compartment can reach -55 ℃, and the temperature in the rapid freezing room can reach -60 ℃. Rapid freezing can quickly lower the center temperature of tuna to below -55 ℃, ensuring that it meets the edible standards for high-end export markets.
Refrigeration equipment: High performance refrigeration compressor units imported from Japan are commonly used. Some ship types are equipped with -60 ℃ deep freezing tunnels or ultra-low temperature flat freezing rooms.
